# Welcome

Use the South African workspaces to prepare payroll, VAT and workplace compliance records. A submitted ERPNext
document is an internal controlled record; it is not proof that an authority or bank accepted it. Complete external
SARS, Department of Employment and Labour, Compensation Fund, CIPC or bank steps separately. Feature Readiness is
a control label and still requires the released guide and organisation-specific approval.

Ask your process owner when a field, rate, source or approval is unclear. Never bypass a validation with guessed statutory data.
